How Top Issues Are Selected

Top Issues are checks with a "fail" status, sorted by impact level (critical first, then high, medium, low). These represent the most significant problems on your page — the ones that should be addressed first for the greatest improvement in your score.

  1. All critical-impact failures are listed first
  2. Then high-impact failures
  3. Medium and low-impact failures follow
  4. Up to 10 top issues are shown by default

How Quick Wins Are Identified

Quick Wins are checks with a "warning" status and low or medium impact — meaning they're partially meeting best practices and typically require small changes to move from warning to pass. These are the low-hanging fruit of SEO optimization.

💡Strategy

Start by fixing the top 2-3 critical issues (biggest impact), then knock out quick wins for fast score improvements. This combination of strategic and tactical fixes is the fastest path to a higher score.

Using the Dashboard Filters

The dashboard's quick stats (pass/warning/fail counts) are clickable. Clicking on "Warnings" or "Failures" filters the detailed category view to show only checks with that status — making it easy to find and address specific issue types.
